First snowfall.

Just days behind forodwaith here in almost-Canada.

It's ... pretty. The ground is covered, but the roads and sidewalks are just wet. Which is good because I'm supposed to go into Syracuse tonight for a little mini conference with my RWA chapter, and I'd rather not be driving after dark in mounds of snow.

A hotel room! Of my own! For a whole night! I am delirious with glee.

Also, rather sick with the first cold of the season, but I'm ignoring it.

Hey. I live in Liverpool and work in Syracuse. There is no snow on the ground and the sidewalks are dry. The sun is out from time to time.

Wish I'd known of your trip (you're a ways from Canada yet, my dear!) I'd have invited you for dinner...

Fulton always seems to get more, doesn't it? Sigh.

We should totally get together sometime. I'm in Liverpool once a month for the RWA meetings, and I take Sara to the library there a lot, too.

The snow here has stayed around and the river is already jammed with frazil ice. Won't be long before the outdoor hockey rink can be flooded.
