Unexpected vacation
Oct. 1st, 2007 10:38 amAnyone ever have one of those? I realize I've been not blogging for a while, and maybe I needed it. I took a vacation from the Internets! Crazy.
Summer wound down slowly, making me lazy and mostly too hot to do anything much but exactly what I had to and now more, but now that school's in swing again for the kids, it's like my new year -- come fall, I want to start everything fresh. Buy new pencils (remember those? much more affordable than a new keyboard), clean my desk, pack away shorts and tank tops and drag out my sweaters. It's a weird time of year to feel reenergized, but it happens to me every September.
Except for how it's October already. Ooops.
And let me just admit that some of my bouncing comes from fall TV. Heroes has already started, and this week brings the premiere of Supernatural (Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST, the CW -- watch it, people. Seriously. Hot boys, ghosts and demons, and, um, hot boys. Being angsty and adorable.) and Friday Night Lights. Plus, Friday night was the premiere of Moonlight, which was fairly cheestastic, but I loved it anyway. A hot, brooding vampire! Jason Dohring! You can't go wrong, really.
