1. The first character you first fell in love with: Definitely Buffy. For the attitude, the puns, the soft gooey inside, the normal girl with "extraordinary" problems (and capabilities).
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now: Giles. I knew I would like him from the first season, but I never expected to be so heavily invested in his story (what little we were given of it). I would watch a show about Giles on his own.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Xander, I guess. I don't hate him, and there have been plenty of times that I sympathized with or rooted for him, but overall, the feeling's kind of meh.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: Riley. I liked him even when the show was on, although I think that's flavored with a dose of sympathy. He was the all-American boy who tried to do right, but the truth of the world he lived in didn't match the one he was promised.
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: Willow. Although it's maybe not fair, because I think she was written all over the map at the end of the series, and she didn't *feel* like the person I thought Willow would grow into. Up till S4, she was one of my favorites, but by S6 (maybe even the end of S5), I didn't know her anymore, and I didn't feel for her (despite the hamhanded attempts to make me do so).

1. The first character you first fell in love with: Wesley. I *loved* his attempt at "rogue demon hunter," and I liked him in a way I hadn't on BtVS. The love only grew deeper as the show went on. Sigh. I miss Wesley.
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now: That would also be Wesley. After the prissy little tattletale he was on BtVs, I never expected him to grow into someone so shaded and interesting.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Gunn. Again, I don't hate him, but I could take him or leave him.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: Fred, I guess? I love her, but I get the impression others don't.
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: A resounding "Cordelia," please. Who the hell was that woman with the frightening hair and the one-size-fits-all martyrdom? By S3, I usually had to grit my teeth when she was onscreen.
