Damn, I suck -- this post reminded me that, though it is on my shelf 10 feet away, I have yet to read "Room Service."

We leave for vacation 2 weeks from today; I'll bring it to the beach with me, along with snurri's Superpowers -- it'll be a Buffista-author-tastic vacation!

Ah, The Calligrapher, yes. I am tempted to send you my copy but the damn cover is just sooo pretty. Maybe I should keep the dust jacket and let the book come visit you. It was ... not as good as the cover and I wouldn't honestly rec *buying* it, but you could *read* it...

Well ... they don't actually go on a date! They go out to dinner at one point, with friends, but it's not really a date, you know? Not a getting-to-know-you, nervous and wondering and attracted thing. So.

But hey! It's a title.
