Rubber duckie, you're the one...
Jan. 31st, 2005 09:46 amWay too much going on lately, but here's some fun news (for me, at least) -- I got asked to be a columnist on a new romance website, Romancing the Blog, and my first column will run tomorrow. Still have to polish it. Or possibly write a whole new one, depending on my mood later. The site is kind of a clearinghouse for the blogs of romance writers, readers, and reviewers, but the column content is original.
Next project is already behind schedule. Still taking on too much freelance work. The baby has discovered how to open drawers, which means most of her clothes wind up on her floor at some point during the day. Ben's eighth birthday is Friday, and he's having a sleepover party. Believe it or not, it was my idea. Clearly, I've lost my last shred of sanity. At least only four boys are coming, since I limited the number of invitees.
dachelle got me hooked on Arrested Development. I don't blame her for this, because it is amazingly funny, and Jason Bateman is truly yummy.
susanw's husband is making me a very cool website, which is a good thing, since I don't think I'm capable. And he's very funny, which makes reading his emails a treat.
I want Lost to come back. I want the Amazing Race to be over, because I'm tired of it. I want Numb3rs to do well in the ratings, because it's making geeky math geniuses (and their cranky FBI agent brothers) surprisingly sexy.
I also want to go one day without watching Sesame Street, but I'm not counting on it. (Counting. Heh. One day without Sesame Street! Two days without Sesame Street!)
